The Industry Strategy: A Platform for Global Success

The Government’s White Paper on Industry Strategy marks a major new initiative to boost the international competitiveness of manufacturing and provide the platform for expanding Intelligent Manufacturing.  Given the importance of manufacturing to the national economy, how can the sector take advantage of the new opportunities being made available.  Furthermore, in the context of Brexit, and indeed the wider global economy, how can the Strategy be utilised to sustain and expand exports?

For Metalformers, as a core foundation industry, feeding into a range of global value-added supply-chains as well as sourcing key bespoke components, how can the best use of the Strategy be achieved?
